Cobra Powersports Introduces PEIRSPEED to the US Market
TGB scooters are now being sold as PEIRSPEED scooters

KENNESAW, GA (July 2, 2008) – Cobra Powersports has announced that they have changed the name of its scooter line from TGB to PEIRSPEED. The change comes as PEIRSPEED secures the distribution rights to the SACHS MadAss bikes in America.

“We’ve had great success selling the TGB scooters and look forward to a smooth transition to the new name,” said Bill Peirce, president of Cobra Powersports. “By marketing our TGB scooters and SACHS Bikes under the PEIRSPEED name we can be more efficient and have 100% control over the brand. It will allow us to do more consumer advertising which will significantly help our dealers.”

“The TGB logo will remain on the engine/CVT case so loyal TGB customers will know they are still able to get a TGB scooter from our PEIRSPEED dealers. And we haven’t changed the model names so the customers who want a certain model can still find it at their local dealer.”

Peirce added, “We are still offering the popular Key West with the 2-stroke 50cc engine and the Laser R5/R9, Delivery scooters, and R50X. Plus for 2009, we have expanded our scooter line from 7 models to 12.”

The 2009 PEIRSPEED line-up includes the made in Taiwan Key West (2S 50), Laser R5i (2S 50), Laser R9i (150), R50X, and Delivery 50/150 scooters. Later this month, the company will release 3 new 4-stroke 50cc scooters, 2 new 150cc scooters, an all new 400cc scooter, and 3 new motorcycle/scooters from the German manufacturer, SACHS.

Cobra Powersports & TGB to Continue Strategic Partnership
TGB and Cobra Powersports sign a multi-year supply agreement for scooters & ATVs

KENNESAW, GA (May 12, 2008) – Cobra Powersports (“Cobra Scooters, LLC”) and TGB (“Taiwan Golden Bee Co.; LTD) today jointly announced that they will continue their strategic partnership and will operate under a new multi-year supply agreement. Under the terms of the agreement TGB will continue supply Cobra Powersports with scooters and ATVs for the U.S. market.

This new supply agreement benefits both companies through distribution channels set up by Cobra Powersports and manufacturing capabilities from TGB. Highlights of the new agreement:

TGB will continue to manufacturer fuel-efficient scooters and high-quality ATVs in Taiwan for distribution in the U.S. by Cobra Powersports. Under the new agreement, the scooters and ATVs will be sold under the brand name “PEIRSPEED by TGB”.

PEIRSPEED is a brand name owned by Cobra Powersports.

This latest supply agreement extends a long standing relationship between the two corporations, with Cobra Powersports already distributing TGB scooters and ATVs since 2004.

The two companies have also agreed to maintain an open dialogue to explore further product opportunities.

The strategic partnership has accomplished a tremendous amount so far and achieved nearly all our goals during the first 4 years of its existence.” said Mr. Peirce. “For instance, in 2006 we were the first company to have a 2-stroke 50cc engine that met the new small engine EPA regulations. Additionally, we worked together to develop what we think is the best 400cc ATV on the market; the Outback 400cc ATV. These and other joint cooperation projects will continue into the future.
